
Sr. Masuga was born in Caspian, Mich., to Paul and Frances (Rucinski) Masuga. She earned degrees from Siena Heights College (University) in Adrian and Loyola University, Chicago.
Sr. Masuga spent 37 years ministering in education in Michigan, Illinois, California and New Mexico. In Michigan, she taught at Precious Blood (1943-45) and Visitation (1945-50), Detroit; St. John, Ypsilanti (1951-56); St. Agnes, Iron River (1956-58); St. Patrick, Escanaba (1958-60); and St. Elizabeth, Tecumseh (1960-66, including as principal). She was also a member of the activities staff at Maria Health Care Center in Adrian for eight years.
A funeral Mass was offered in St. Catherine Chapel in Adrian on May 30. Rite of Committal was to be in the Congregation cemetery.
