On Friday, Sept. 18, Archbishop Weisenburger was the honored guest of the Catholic Foundation of the Diocese of Tucson during its 44th Annual Cornerstone Gala, which raises support for the Diocese of Tucson's ministerial needs each year. Archbishop Weisenburger, who served as Tucson's bishop from 2017 to 2025, was invited to return to Tucson to be recognized for his faith-filled service to the Church of southern Arizona. More than 1,000 people attended this year's gala, including Archbishop Weisenburger's predecessor as bishop of Tucson, Bishop Gerald F. Kicanas, and his successor, Bishop James A. Misko.

On Sunday, Sept. 20, Archbishop Weisenburger joined the Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums for an international gathering hosted in the Archdiocese of Detroit at St. John's Resort in Plymouth. John and Kristan Hale, chapter leaders of the Michigan chapter of the Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums, hosted the event, which was attended by representatives from different countries, including a special visit from Sr. Raffaella Petrini, FSE, president of the Pontifical Commission and Governate of Vatican City State. The event included Mass at St. John's Resort, followed by a brunch.

On Wednesday, Sept. 16, Archbishop Weisenburger welcomed Archbishop Gabriele G. Caccia, apostolic nuncio to the United States, for a brief visit to Detroit, including a tour of the Blessed Solanus Casey Center and Sacred Heart Major Seminary. Archbishop Caccia, who was appointed as U.S. nuncio by Pope Leo XIV in March, visited the tomb of Blessed Solanus Casey and spoke with local Catholic leaders and seminarians during his visit. The nuncio — who serves as the pope's ambassador to the churches in the United States — also received a blessing with a relic of the True Cross during his visit to the Solanus Casey Center.

On Sunday, Sept. 13, Archbishop Weisenburger celebrated the 75th anniversary of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish in Beverly Hills with a special Mass, followed by a beautiful reception with parishioners. Archbishop Weisenburger was joined by Our Lady Queen of Martyrs alumnus Fr. Tim Birney, who currently serves as moderator of the curia for the Archdiocese of Detroit, and other clergy from the parish. Our Lady Queen of Martyrs was founded in 1951, and the current church building opened in 1965. Throughout the subsequent decades, the parish has grown, adding a school in 1953 and a kindergarten and preschool in the 1980s.

On Saturday, Sept. 12, Archbishop Weisenburger celebrated Mass with students, faculty and alumni of De La Salle Collegiate High School in Warren in honor of the school's 100th anniversary. Sponsored by the Christian Brothers, the school's legacy of faith, academic excellence and service was on full display during the celebration, which took place outside on the St. John Baptist de La Salle Stadium football field. After Mass, guests joined a reception and toured the school, which included a showcase of its new Bloomberg Center & Finance Lab.
