DETROIT  About 300 people gathered for a subdued  but still lively  celebration of St. Patrick’s Day at Most Holy Trinity Parish in Detroit’s Corktown neighborhood on March 17.

Detroit Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron celebrated the 186th annual “Sharin’ o’ the Green” Mass, and Fr. Brian Hurley, pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish in Lapeer, gave the homily.
