DETROIT — At Christ the King Parish and School in northwest Detroit, a revitalized community of faith is rediscovering its God-given gifts and embarking on a path of missionary renewal.
Fr. John McKenzie, a priest in solidum who leads the community, and new K-8 principal Brttany Culkowski spoke to Detroit Catholic about what makes Christ the King such a special place — and what it will take to strengthen the parish and school for the long haul.
