Sr. Margaret of Nazareth Hornyak, CSJ, age 96, died on Jan. 12, 2025.
She was born July 8, 1928 in Windber, Pa., to Joseph and Margaret (Boury) Hornyak, and was a member of the Congregation of St. Joseph.
Sr. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Joseph and Robert Hornyak; and a sister, Anna Hornyak. She is survived by her nephew, Robert Hornyak; and niece, Sandra Zacharias; and a brother, John Hornyak. A Service of Remembrance and Mass will took place on Wednesday, January 22 at Holy Family Chapel. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Nazareth, MI.
