May They Rest in Peace: Sr. Dianne Koszycki (Mary Robertann), OP

Sr. Dianne Koszycki, OP, formerly known as Sr. Mary Robertann, died on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at the Dominican Life Center in Adrian, Michigan. She was 79 years of age and in the 59th year of her religious profession: 11 years as a Felician Sister of Livonia, Michigan, and in her 48th year of profession in the Adrian Dominican Congregation.

Sister Dianne was born in Toledo, Ohio, to Francis and Helen (Wozniak) Koszycki. She graduated from Central Catholic High School in Toledo and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Madonna College in Livonia and a Master of Science degree in Pediatric Nursing from the University of California-San Francisco. She was licensed as a registered nurse by the Michigan Board of Nursing and was a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.

Sister ministered for four years in elementary education in South Bend, Indiana, four years in college education in Livonia and Dearborn, Michigan, and for over 29 years in a variety of nursing positions in Livonia, Detroit, Royal Oak, Pontiac, Southfield, Dearborn, Warren, Fraser, Riverview and Monroe, Michigan; and Toledo, Maumee, Sylvania and Swanton, Ohio. Sister became a resident of the Dominican Life Center in Adrian in 2010.

Sister Dianne was preceded in death by her parents. Sister is survived by a brother, Robert Koszycki (Connie), other loving family and her Adrian Dominican Sisters.

A Funeral Mass was offered in St. Catherine Chapel at 10:30 am Friday, June 7, 2024. Prayers of Committal will be held in the Congregation Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to Adrian Dominican Sisters, 1257 East Siena Heights Drive, Adrian, MI, 49221.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian.
