Sr. Catherine Shanahan, CSJ, age 95, died Dec. 24, 2022.
Sister was born May 19, 1927 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of James and Marion (Kennedy) Shanahan, and was a member of the Congregation of St. Joseph.
Sr. Catherine is survived by her brother, Pat (Cathy) Shanahan. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Jack Shanahan, Geraldine Schroeder, Mary Ellen Van Assche, and Joanie Hedemark. Welcome Home and Mass of Christian Burial took place Wednesday (DEC 28) at Holy Family Chapel at Nazareth Center. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
