Deacon Eugene Krzeminski passed on from this life on Dec. 19, 2022, at the age of 82. Deacon Krzeminski is survived by his beloved wife, Marylyn.
Deacon Krzeminski was born Oct. 19, 1940, and was ordained to the permanent diaconate on Dec. 9, 1973, serving 49 years as a permanent deacon.
Deacon Krzeminski served his first assignment at St. Colette Parish, Livonia, from Dec. 10, 1973, until June 30, 1977. He then went on to serve at SS. Peter & Paul, Detroit; St. Kenneth, Plymouth; and St. Joseph, South Lyon; until he relocated to the Diocese of Las Vegas in 2003. He served within the St. Thomas More Catholic Community of the Diocese of Las Vegas until his death.
Deacon Krzeminski’s visitation took place on Thursday, Dec. 29, at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89123.
Deacon Krzeminski’s funeral Mass took place on Friday, Dec. 30, at St. Thomas More Catholic Community, N. Pecos Road, Henderson, NV 89074. A committal service will take place the same day, Friday, December 30, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Palm Eastern Cemetery, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89123.
