Deacon Arthur W Majkowski passed on from this life on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at the age of 81. Deacon Majkowski is predeceased by his beloved wife, Delphine.
Deacon Majkowski was born Dec. 4, 1940, and was ordained to the permanent diaconate on Oct. 4, 2003. Deacon Majkowski served his first assignment at St. Louise de Marillac, Warren until 2012, followed by assignments at St. Florian Parish, Hamtramck; Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish, Sterling Heights; St. Faustina Parish, Warren; and his last active assignment was at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish, Roseville.
Deacon Majkowski’s visitation will take place on Sunday, June 5, from 3-9 p.m., at D.S. Temrowski and Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, MI 48093, with Rosary at 7 p.m. Deacon Majkowski’s funeral Mass will take place on Monday, June 6th, at 10 a.m., at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Catholic Church, 18720 E. 13 Mile Road, Roseville, MI 48066. In state will begin at St. Pio at 9:30 a.m., prior to the funeral Mass.
