DETROIT — On May 18, 2024, Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron ordained five new priests for the Archdiocese of Detroit: Frs. Ryan Asher, Nicholas Brown, Matthew Kurt, Stephen Moening and Phuc (Tommy) Ngo.
As they embark on the journey of a lifetime, Detroit’s new priests reflect on how, with God’s help, they overcame doubts, anxieties and uncertainty to follow Jesus and trust his path for their lives. They talk about how reading the lives of the saints, spending time in adoration and deepening their prayer lives prepared them to accept Christ’s great calling and step out into the unknown with unwavering faith.
