Detroit — A popular 10-mile bicycle tour of Detroit’s historic churches will return this summer, as Ste. Anne de Detroit Parish hosts its second annual “Holy Rollin’” event June 24.
Cyclists will begin at Ste. Anne Church, 1000 St. Anne St., and proceed at a leisurely pace to Most Holy Trinity Church, St. Josaphat Church and St. Joseph Oratory before returning to Ste. Anne. Along the way, cyclists will enjoy the history of Detroit’s Catholic parishes through stories, song and secrets of some of the city’s oldest landmarks.
Registration is $30, which includes a donation to each church, maps, snacks, guides and dinner from local food trucks.
Visit ste-anne.org/events/holy-rollin to register, or call (313) 496-1701 ext. 14. Participants must bring their own bikes, helmets and bike locks.
Cyclists will meet at Ste. Anne at 1 p.m., and the tour will conclude at 6:30 p.m.
