Hispanic Women’s Conference leaves women ‘ignited, full of the Holy Spirit’ (VIDEO)

DEARBORN — Nearly 800 women gathered Oct. 29 for the 14th Archdiocese of Detroit Hispanic Women's Conference for a day of prayer, fellowship and an encounter with the mercy of Jesus.

The event, which took place at the Performing Arts Center of Dearborn, featured heartfelt talks by Marcela Palos, a prominent family consultant originally from Chihuahua, Mexico, and Daniela Ruelas of Guadalajara, México, an international presenter of the "Fire Intercessors" ministry.

The day also included socialization, food, music, reflection, opportunities for reconciliation, adoration and Mass. After the conference, participants enjoyed a meal and had the opportunity to venerate a first-class relic of Blessed María Concepción Cabrera de Armida, mother of nine children, to pray and ask for her intercession.
