DETROIT — Fr. Robert Voiland and Fr. John Dudek were ordained as priests in the Archdiocese of Detroit on May 15, 2021. 

Both men had thoughts of the priesthood as young men, but the realization of their vocation came later in life. Fr. Dudek, 55, came to the priesthood after a 26-year career as a special education teacher. Fr. Voiland, 60, had a career as an electrician for General Motors before retiring to care for his elderly parents.

Now, they begin a new phase as priests for the Archdiocese of Detroit.
