GROSSE POINTE WOODS — There were saints in the halls of Our Lady Star of the Sea School in Grosse Pointe Woods on Thursday, Oct. 31.

Well, students dressed up as saints anyway.

While some students dressed in traditional Halloween costumes, others dressed up as part of a “Living Saints Museum” in celebration of All Saints Day.

The tradition, done in Catholic schools across the country, is a fun way for students to learn about holy men and women and bring their example to life in the classroom.

The saints are proof the Holy Spirit works through men and women on earth, and the All Saints Day celebrations are a time to remember the lives of the people God has sent to spread the kingdom of Jesus Christ.

Below are some snapshots of Our Lady Star of the Sea's All Saints celebrations.
