Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron announces the following appointments:

Fr. Ronald Babich granted senior status, effective March 3, 2020. Fr. Babich was serving as pastor of St. Daniel Parish, Clarkston.

Fr. Kishore Battu, SAC, with the concurrence of his superior, Very Reverend Arogyadas Kottana, regional rector, appointed administrator of St. Michael Parish, Monroe, effective Aug. 1, 2020. Fr. Battu is currently serving as associate pastor of St. Valentine Parish, Redford, and Our Lady of Loretto Parish, Redford.

Fr. Gerard Bechard granted senior status, effective Sept. 1, 2020. Fr. Bechard is currently serving as pastor of SS. Simon and Jude Parish, Westland.

Msgr. John Budde granted senior status, effective July 1, 2020. Msgr. Budde is currently serving as pastor of St. Mary Parish, Milford.

Mr. Zaid Chabaan is to be appointed deacon at St. Mary Parish, Monroe, and St. John the Baptist Parish, Monroe, effective June 1, 2020. Mr. Chabaan is to be ordained a transitional deacon on May 22, 2020.

Fr. Brian Chabala granted senior status, effective June 1, 2020. Fr. Chabala is currently serving as pastor of St. Irenaeus Parish, Rochester Hills.

Fr. Philip Ching appointed pastor of Holy Family Parish, Memphis, and St. Augustine Parish, Richmond, effective Aug. 1, 2020. Fr. Ching is currently serving as pastor of St. Michael Parish, Monroe.

Fr. James Cronk granted senior status, effective July 1, 2020. Fr. Cronk is currently serving as pastor of St. Owen Parish, Bloomfield Hills.

Fr. Joseph Dailey granted senior status effective July 1, 2020. Fr. Dailey is currently serving as pastor of Christ the Redeemer Parish, Lake Orion.

Fr. Joseph Mallia appointed pastor of St. Kieran Parish, Shelby Township, effective Aug. 1, 2020. Fr. Mallia is currently serving as pastor of Holy Family Parish, Memphis, and St. Augustine Parish, Richmond. 

Fr. Michael Molnar granted senior status effective July 1, 2020. Fr. Molnar is currently serving as pastor of Sacred Heart Parish, Grosse Ile.

Fr. Joseph Plawecki appointed administrator of SS. Simon and Jude Parish, Westland, effective Sept. 1, 2020. Fr. Plawecki is currently serving as chaplain at Ascension St. John Macomb Hospital, Warren.

Fr. C. Michael Verschaeve granted senior status effective July 1, 2020. Fr. Verschaeve is currently serving as pastor of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Lake Orion.

Fr. Howard Vogan granted senior status, effective July 1, 2020. Fr. Vogan is currently serving as pastor of St. Genevieve-St. Maurice Parish, Livonia
