their division after a 53-41 win
over Divine Child. Kellen
McCormick scored 25 points
to lead the Irish and Joey De-
Martis added 11.
Girls basketball (6-2, 5-0) topped Riverview Gabriel Richard
52-49. Kiaya Bowman and
Brooke Borowski led the Irish
in scoring with 15 points each.
They defeated Bishop Foley
45-32. Borowki scored 16
points, Mary Kate Zinn scored
13 and Jane Fountain scored 9.
Ice hockey fell to Woodhaven
2-1 and Ann Arbor Huron 2-1.
Alex Reaume scored the lone
goal for the Irish against Ann
Arbor Huron.
Boys ski defeated Adams in
slalom 16-20 and giant slalom
16.5-22. Alex Rink won both
events, Kevin Ziegler placed
4th in slalom and 6th in giant
slalom, and Mike Sewell placed
4th in giant slalom.
Girls ski defeated Adams in
slalom 10-32 and giant slalom
10-31. Katrina Stencel won
both events, Reine Mager
placed 2nd in both events and
Rachel Dawson placed 3rd in
both events.
Competitive cheer placed 3rd
at the Stoney Creek Cougar
Spirit Invitational behind 2
Division II teams. They had
the highest total score of Division
III teams with 762.9400.
Wrestling fell to Clarkston and
St. Mary’s in dual meets. James
Yanik recorded 2 pins.
RANKINGS Competitive cheer is #2 in the
Division 3 state rankings.
Boys basketball is #14 in the
Associated Press Class B state
rankings.
Kellen McCormick is the #2
forward in the class of 2012,
according to the Michigan High
School Basketball Bulletin.
