METRO DETROIT — Across the Archdiocese of Detroit, magnificent pieces of art and history continue to tell the story of Christmas in varied — but spectacular — fashion. This Advent season, The Michigan Catholic took a photo pilgrimage to some of Detroit’s historic churches to uncover some of these hidden gems, stained-glass windows depicting scenes of the Nativity, the Visit of the Magi, the flight of the Holy Family and other stories celebrating the birth of our Savior.
