Bloomfield Hills -- This weekend it will be a classic rivalry on the lacrosse field as Birmingham Brother Rice takes on Novi Detroit Catholic Central for the Division A Catholic League title.

Capping a dominant season, the Warriors took care of business Tuesday versus University of Detroit Jesuit, winning by a 15-3 score. Brother Rice heads into the finals this weekend with a perfect record in the Catholic League.

Detroit Catholic Central likewise won handily against Warren De La Salle, by a 17-8 tally.

Both the boys and girls Catholic League lacrosse finals will be played this weekend on the campus of Pontiac Notre Dame Prep. The Warriors and Shamrocks will play at 7:30 p.m.
