Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron announces the following appointments:
Fr. Paul Graney appointed a member of the In Solidum team of priests who will pastor Holy Spirit Parish, Highland; St. Mary Parish, Milford; St. Patrick Parish, White Lake; St. Perpetua Parish, Waterford, that form Lakes Vicariate Family 2, effective July 1, 2023. Pending inclusion in the Family Priests’ Covenant, Fr. Graney will live and serve primarily at St. Patrick Parish, White Lake under the mentorship of Fr. David Cybulski. Father Graney currently serves as Priest In Solidum at St. Kieran Parish, Shelby Township; St. Matthias Parish, Sterling Heights; St. Lawrence Parish, Utica, that form North Macomb Family of Parishes Family 1, primarily serving at St. Lawrence Parish, Utica.
Fr. Susaikannu Esack, SAC, with the concurrence of his Local Superior, Fr. Suresh Rajaian, SAC, appointed a member of the In Solidum team of priests who will pastor Our Lady of Victory Parish, Northville; St. Colette Parish, Livonia; St. Edith Parish, Livonia; St. Kenneth Parish, Plymouth, that form Pope Francis Family of Parishes, effective July 1, 2023. Pending inclusion in the Family Priests’ Covenant, Fr. Esack will live and serve primarily at St. Colette Parish, Livonia. Fr. Esack currently serves as Priest In Solidum at St. Perpetua Parish, Waterford; St. Mary, Our Lady of the Snows Parish, Milford; Church of the Holy Spirit, Highland; St. Patrick Parish, White Lake, that form Lakes Vicariate Family 2, primarily serving at St. Patrick Parish, White Lake.
Fr. Thomas Meagher granted senior status, effective July 1, 2023. Fr. Meagher currently serves as moderator of Lakes Vicariate Family 2, and member of the In Solidum team of priests who pastor St. Perpetua Parish, Waterford; St. Patrick Parish, White Lake; St. Mary Parish, Milford; and Holy Spirit Parish, Highland, that form Lakes Vicariate Family 2.
Fr. Adam Nowak appointed a member of the In Solidum team of priests who will pastor St. Joan of Arc Parish, St. Clair Shores; Our Lady of the Sea Parish, Grosse Pointe Woods; St. Basil the Great Parish, Eastpointe; St. Lucy Parish, St. Clair Shores; St. Veronica Parish, Eastpointe, that form SERF Vicariate Family 2, effective July 1, 2023. Pending inclusion in the Family Priests’ Covenant, Fr. Nowak will live and serve primarily at St. Joan of Arc Parish, St. Clair Shores, under the mentorship of Msgr. G. Michael Bugarin. Fr. Nowak currently serves as Priest In Solidum at St. Damien of Molokai Parish, Pontiac; St. Hugo of the Hills Parish, Bloomfield Hills; St. Thomas More Parish, Troy; Sacred Heart Parish, Auburn Hills, that form Northwest South Oakland Vicariate Family 3, primarily serving at St. Hugo of the Hills Parish, Bloomfield Hills.
