Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron announces the following appointments:
Fr. Ryan Adams given permission to join the postulancy and novitiate programs of the Oratory of Port Antonio in Jamaica, as part of the process of incardination ad experimentum, effective Sept. 1, 2023. Fr. Adams is currently serving as a member of the In Solidum team of priests who pastor Holy Cross (Hungarian) Parish, Detroit; Most Holy Trinity Parish, Detroit; Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, Detroit; Basilica of Ste. Anne Parish, Detroit; St. Francis D’Assisi-St. Hedwig Parish, Detroit, that form Southwest Detroit Family of Parishes, serving primarily at Basilica of Ste. Anne Parish, Detroit.
Fr. John Herman, CSC, with the concurrence of his provincial superior, Very Reverend William Lies, CSC, appointed a member of the In Solidum team of priests who will pastor Holy Cross (Hungarian) Parish, Detroit; Most Holy Trinity Parish, Detroit; Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, Detroit; Basilica of Ste. Anne Parish, Detroit; St. Francis d’Assisi-St. Hedwig Parish, Detroit; that form Southwest Detroit Family of Parishes, effective July 1, 2023. Fr. Herman will live and serve at Ste. Anne Parish, Detroit, under the mentorship of Msgr. Charles Kosanke. Fr. Herman has begun the process of incardination ad experimentum in the Archdiocese of Detroit.
