Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron announces the following appointments:
Fr. Francis Asomkase, SSJ, with the concurrence of his superior, Most Reverend John H. Ricard, SSJ, appointed full-time priest support to Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Detroit; Sacred Heart Parish, Detroit; St. Augustine and St. Monica Parish, Detroit; St. Charles Borromeo Parish, Detroit; and St. Elizabeth Parish, Detroit, which form the Detroit Lower Eastside Family of Parishes, effective Feb. 5, 2025. Fr. Asomkase will live at St. Charles Borromeo Parish, Detroit. Fr. Asomkase previously served outside of the Archdiocese of Detroit.
Fr. Ifiok Wisdom Umanah, SSJ, with the concurrence of his superior, Most Reverend John H.
