Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron announces the following appointments:

Fr. Matthew Ellis appointed associate pastor of St. Isidore Parish, Macomb Township, effective May 1, 2019. Fr. Ellis is currently serving as associate pastor of St. Lawrence Parish, Utica.

Fr. Patrick Gonyeau appointed administrator of Corpus Christi Parish, Detroit, effective July 1, 2019. Fr. Gonyeau is currently serving as associate pastor of Corpus Christi Parish, Detroit.

Fr. Thomas Lumpkin granted senior status, effective Sept. 30, 2019. Fr. Lumpkin is currently serving as chaplain at Day House, Detroit, and Manna Community, Detroit.

Fr. Shafique Masih appointed pastor of St. Mary, Cause of Our Joy Parish, Westland, effective July 1, 2019. Fr. Masih is currently serving as pastor of St. Jude Parish, Detroit.

Fr. Gregory Piatt will continue his duties as administrator of St. John XXIII Parish, Redford, where he is currently serving.

Fr. Edward Zaorski appointed pastor of St. James Parish, Novi, effective July 1, 2019. Fr. Zaorski is currently serving as pastor of SS. Andrew and Benedict Parish, Detroit, and St. Mary Magdalen Parish, Melvindale.
