Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron announces the following appointment:
Fr. James Smalarz, appointed member of the in solidum team of priests who pastor Our Lady of Victory Parish, Northville; St. Colette Parish, Livonia; St. Edith Parish, Livonia; St. Kenneth Parish, Plymouth, that form Pope Francis Family of Parishes, effective July 1, 2024. Pending inclusion in the Family Priests’ Covenant, Fr. Smalarz will live and serve primarily at St. Colette Parish, Livonia. Fr. Smalarz currently serves as priest in solidum at Holy Name Parish, Birmingham; Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish, Beverly Hills; St. Owen Parish, Bloomfield Hills; St. Regis Parish, Bloomfield Hills, that form West Maple Family of Parishes, primarily serving at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish, Beverly Hills.
