Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron announces the following appointment:
Fr. Louis Lapeyre appointed a member of the in solidum team of priests who pastor Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, Temperance; St. Anthony Parish, Temperance; St. Joseph Parish, Erie, that form Lumen Christi Family of Parishes, effective July 1, 2024. Pending inclusion in the Family Priests’ Covenant, Fr. Lapeyre will live and serve primarily at St. Joseph Parish, Erie. Fr. Lapeyre currently serves as priest in solidum at Immaculate Conception Parish, Ira Township; Our Lady on the River Parish, Marine City; St. Mary Parish, St. Clair; St. Mary, Queen of Creation Parish, New Baltimore, that form Blue Water Southern Family of Parishes, primarily serving at Our Lady on the River Parish, Marine City.
