Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron announces the following appointments:
Fr. Johnbritto Chinnappa, MSFS, with the concurrence of the provincial of the U.S.A. Vice-Province, Very Reverend Anthony Bonela, MSFS, appointed parochial vicar of St. John Neumann Parish, Canton, and Resurrection Parish, Canton, effective July 1, 2024. Fr. Chinnappa will live and serve primarily at St. John Neumann Parish, Canton, under the mentorship of Fr. Paul Ballien. Fr. Chinnappa currently serves outside of the Archdiocese of Detroit.
Fr. Bhaskar Rao Madanu, SAC, with the concurrence of his regional rector, Very Reverend Balaji Boyalla, SAC, appointed full-time priest support at St. Aidan Parish, Livonia; St. Priscilla Parish, Livonia; St. Michael Parish, Livonia; St. Gerald Parish, Farmington, that form Livonia Area Family of Parishes effective July 1, 2024. Fr. Madanu will live and serve primarily at St. Michael Parish, Livonia, under the mentorship of Msgr. William Tindall. Fr. Madanu currently serves outside of the Archdiocese of Detroit.
