Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron announces the following appointments:
Fr. Gregory Deters granted senior status, effective Jan. 1, 2025. Fr. Deters currently serves as a member of the in solidum team of priests who pastor St. Alphonsus-St. Clement Parish, Dearborn; St. Barbara Parish, Dearborn; St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish, Dearborn; and St. Maria Goretti Parish, Dearborn Heights, which form the Rouge Family of Parishes.
Fr. Marco Kiyan, PES, with the concurrence of his superior, Very Reverend Alvaro Perez, PES, appointed Administrator of Presentation/Our Lady of Victory Parish, Detroit, and St. Scholastica Parish, Detroit, which form Trinity Vicariate Family 4, effective Jan. 1, 2025.
Fr. Mark Prill appointed full-time priest support to the in solidum team of priests who care for St. Ambrose Parish, Grosse Pointe Park; St. Clare of Montefalco Parish, Grosse Pointe Park; St. Matthew Parish, Detroit; and St. Paul on the Lake Parish, Grosse Pointe Farms, which form the Saints of the Lake Family of Parishes, effective January 3, 2025. Fr. Prill previously served as a member of the in solidum team of priests who care for Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, Temperance; St. Anthony Parish, Temperance; and St. Joseph Parish, Erie, which form the Lumen Christi Family of Parishes.
Fr. Thomas Slowinski granted senior status, effective December 30, 2024.
