DETROIT — The CHSL boys basketball playoffs will tip off Saturday, Feb. 9, at two sites.
The A-B Division first-round contests will be played at Riverview Gabriel Richard. Here are the pairings:
- At 12 noon, Detroit U-D Jesuit vs. Bloomfield Hills Brother Rice
- At 1:30 p.m., Dearborn Divine Child vs. Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Prep
- At 3 p.m., Detroit Loyola vs. Warren De La Salle
- At 4:30 p.m., Novi Detroit Catholic Central vs. Macomb Lutheran North
The winners will play at 7 p.m. on either Tuesday or Wednesday, Feb. 12-13, at Bloomfield Hills Marian.
The C-D Division games will be hosted by Bloomfield Hills Sacred Heart Academy. The schedule:
- At 12 noon, Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Kingswood vs. Detroit Cristo Rey
- At 1:30 p.m., Marine City Cardinal Mooney vs. Royal Oak Shrine
- At 3 p.m., Riverview Gabriel Richard vs. Madison Heights Bishop Foley
- At 4:30 p.m., Ann Arbor Greenhills vs. vs. Clarkston Everest Collegiate
The winners will play at 5:30 p.m. on either Tuesday or Wednesday, Feb. 12-13, at Bloomfield Hills Marian.
The championship games will be held Saturday, Feb. 16, at Detroit Mercy Calihan Hall: the C-D Division at 5 p.m. (Defending champion is Cranbrook Kingswood) followed by the A-B Division game at 7 p.m. (U-D Jesuit has won the last six championships).
